Utterly Last minute New years at Robson Square

Very sorry for dropping this last minute.  To be honest I was entirely not sure what the heck I was going to do for New Years and I finally found it. An open to the public party at Robson Square in Vancouver.  No need to spend hundreds of dollars for ticket to some club party.

Sooo.. assuming you don't already have new years plans or are the type to sleep in on new years, you can tag along with the anime troupe for some new years fun.  Invite as many people you know to this event even if they aren't anime fans as I'm sure they'll enjoy themselves regardless.

We *might* do some early sushi. There are quite a few sushi places near the Robson Square and it might be nice to have some prior to doing a countdown. There will be concession food too so it really depends what everyone who is there wants to do.

We'll meet at the Vancouver Art Gallery on the North side by the Left side Lion at 6pm. If you can't make it at that time just txt or call me at[masked] and let me know when you'll be there and where.. You have all night to show up.

I want to finish thing off by thanking everyone who attended meetups this year. We had a wonderful year with a lot of new members and longtime members being a regular part of the group. I look forward to seeing you all again next year and for many years to come.

See you guys tomorrow or next year. Cheers!!

Truley it was. I was surprised ANYONE showed up. However, two did and it was good. We started the night off with sushi at a place nearby and witnessed seafood so fresh it was still moving. We then went to Robson square only to find there really wasn't THAT much going on apart from skating we didn't have skates for and terrible music that wasn't of anyone's taste. So we wandered Vancouver a bit to find a bar. Unfortunately Matthew couldn't really go in one so he left a bit early to celebrate new years with a friend. Dianne and I wound up at the Steamworks pub where we ate tacos and drank Sparkling wine (not Campaign). We then finished thing off with Hedgehog ice cream cake. We where utterly exhausted by the New Years Countdown. Very good evening overall. I'll have to pick a better spot and and better scheduling for next year.
