Anyone may join, whether or not you're a vegan, vegetarian, animal rights activist, green environmentalist or nerd.  All you need is an interest in what we do.

We get together for various events. They can be for social, ethical, and / or intellectual purposes. We encourage all members to suggest event ideas, on the Message board, or at a meeting. Some events we have include:

1. Potlucks
2. Socials at restaurants, bars, or coffee shops
3. Activism - volunteering at vegan soup kitchens, leafleting, protests
4. Literature discussion (generally genre or author specific)
5. Other topic based discussion (i.e. ethics, psychology, philosophy)
6. Cooking classes

As you can see, some events aren't inherently veg*n related, and some aren't inherently intellectual. We welcome a broad range of members.
