OPEN HOUSE - OPEN FORUM - POTLUCK DINNER AT THE VEGAN COMMUNITY KITCHEN OF CONCORD
A gathering of individuals and groups to discuss diverse aspects of veganism/vegetarianism with the aim of building a cooperative community to promote various causes related to ethical eating.
With your cooperation and support the Vegan Community Kitchen of Concord can become a gathering place that individuals or groups can use to coalesce support for their cause, educate the public through workshops, lectures, classes, etc. or simply meet to exchange ideas over nutritious, inexpensive plant-based cuisine. We welcome everyone to participate in this community-building event where every voice can be heard.
At this forum, we invite individuals or groups to make informal presentations or just familiarize those in attendance with your personal or group causes, principles, feelings, initiatives, and activities. Some of the aspects of veganism/vegetarianism that you might represent:
* environmental protection * public/personal health * conscious lifestyle/parenting
* animal rights * social/economic justice * peace/nonviolence activism
* spirituality * world hunger
This event is also an Open House for the Vegan Community Kitchen of Concord, a non-profit enterprise seeking to support and promote vegan/vegetarian lifestyle choices in our community by offering low cost vegan meals to members and guests.
If you would like to attend this event, please rsvp to email@example.com or call 603 513-4154. If you wish to make a presentation please state the topic and the amount of time you will need. If you are bringing a dish please omit the use of all animal products, including dairy and eggs, so that everyone may enjoy it.
This event is free and open to the general public. Donations to the Vegan Community Kitchen Project are gratefully accepted.
The Vegan Community Kitchen of Concord and its events are sponsored and organized by the Vrinda Center of NH as a completely secular, non-denominational project open to all persons regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or socio/economic status.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
