Are you vegan primarily for health, moral reasons, or both?

Both. really as a matter of non violence against animals, respect for my own nature as an herbivore, and environmentalism/sustainability. My mom allowed me to eat as a vegetarian ever since I was an infant, even in a meat eating family. I read Diet for a Small Planet as a teenager but it took me another 40 years to realize that if at least five more people could eat on the feed now given to animals, that it was as of I had invited five people to eat with me by not putting meat on my plate. That then meant that over 300 years of life had been fed and lived by that simple choice, instead of having had their last meal just so I could eat a burger? WOW!!! Vegans save lives every day! Those collateral human deaths would stick in my craw if I thought of eating an animal, it would seem like cannibalism taking life away from other people. I believe in being peaceful. If that peacefulness reaches no further than my knife, it's time to choose a fork instead. I' on Facebook, YouTube, Google

Introduction

I also go by Carrot Man, Snappy the Peas/ce Pod and Eric or TaDaah the TranscendDancer. I've been described as a goodness and public health activist infecting people with good food or dancing with joy but more vitally and virally to do what you love
