How about a meetup at Bloodroot in Bridgeport? It's been a while since I've been there & you can't beat the home-cooked comfort food served by sweet Grandma-esque ladies :)

Hi everyone, a few things have come up recently that I thought I should share.?
First New Haven is holding a concert inspired by wolves in cooperation with the Sierra club:
"ONE Earth" Concert
Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 8 PM
Woolsey Hall, Corner of College & Grove, New Haven, CT

To listen to sample music and purchase tickets online, visit:
http://www.orchestranewengland.org/

The proceeds benefit Solar Youth and City Seed.

Second, I was sent a link to the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale. Details can be found here:
http://veganbakesale.org/veganbakesale/vbs-what.html
Basically the idea is selling vegan baked good as a means to promote veganism and raise money for the charities of your choice.? If anyone has ideas for locations and charities, I think this would be a good idea for our group.

Lastly,? a member shared some info on taking a vegan cruise:
I would like fellow vegans to know that Wanderbird Cruises (out of Belfast, Maine) offer a gourmet vegan cuisine with prior notice and advance booking . Trips can be as short as 3 days , 5 days, 7 days or longer.? Check out www.wanderbirdcruises.com for some spectacular photography. Kathryn?

That's all for now.? I plan on scheduling another meetup soon and hopefully I will see you all there.

Thanks
Ben
