$12 Indian Meal and Cooking Class!

Ethnic Foods Company is a family-owned, Indian food deli and restaurant that also offers nutrition and cooking classes! Nearly all of the food they offer is vegan, full of delicious spices, and good for you. The owner of the shop, Kavita, has welcomed us in with an excellent deal: a one-pot meal and cooking class for $12!

The food is amazing, and this will be a great opportunity to learn some basics about vegan nutrition and how to cook using a wide variety of spices and flavors. If you want to check out the deli, or for more information visit: http://www.ethnicfoodsco.com/Cooking_Class_Tours_EthnicFoodsCo_Minneapolis_St_Paul_TwinCities.html

For questions about the event, contact [masked], or call[masked]-3031. I hope you can make it, let's support vegan options in the TC and eat some great food while we're at it :)

* If you are willing to pitch in a couple of dollars to help cover the costs of running the Meetup, we would greatly appreciate it, but no one will be turned away due to inability to pay.

* Please also note that while everyone is welcome no matter where you are on your vegan journey, this is meant to be a fun pro-vegan social event. We're happy to answer questions about veganism and have discussions, but this is not the forum for debates or arguments about veganism. By attending we presume you are actively perusing or seriously considering vegan living.

Every road I have tried is closed. Been driving over an hour, hope I make it. Lol

How close are you? Are you on the 169 detour?

Yeah, sorry, just seeing this. I was not at that point yet. I did eventually hit the 169N closure and about lost my mind. Had been driving for well over an hour and had no idea how much further I had to go. At that point I would have been way too late to just show up. I just moved here from Washington DC, so do NOT know my way around yet. Those closures killed me, and Google Maps on my iPhone was of zero help. Thanks for the reply though!

Unfortunately I can not make it tonight. I was very much looking forward to it. I'm not sure how else to reverse the RSVP so I hope this reaches you in time. I look forward to future meet-ups with the group.

Going to have to work on a grant all weekend...don't want to take up a spot if there is a limit...maybe I'll be back as a yes if I get my work done.

Totally stoked for this, and will be my first meeting with you'all. I have some new Indian Veg cookbooks I need to crack open, and this sounds like just the inspiration I need.
