Will this be plant-based food? I know a lot of vegan holiday stuff is essentially fake real food.

Do you mean vegan roasts and things like that? I will point these items out. I think they are a good thing, and I try to avoid calling them "fake." A lot of vegans (like myself) didn't go vegan because they didn't like turkey or cheese. These items satisfy cravings without the animal products.

I definitely don't think of the food as fake either. If anything a lot of the vegan food options are more real since the ingredients are cleaner and plant based... some things are highly processed but animal products can have a lot of chemicals/hormones/waste in the meat.

I can stay from 12-2pm. Will that work, or should I probably just miss this event?

You just drop in and participate for any part of it! We're not expecting folks to stay the whole time. Not even volunteers! :O

Hi, I just learned that my prepared food line, Simply Zen has now been approved for the Midwest! We currently are selling only on the East Coast. It will be in the hot bar by the pound. It is non-GMO, no preservatives and 100% plant-based. www.simplyzen.biz

Did lots of camping, but not so much of the foraging Lol. That's great you will be helping out, when I saw you coming I decided to go. Have you talked to Liana or Robert lately? Wouldn't that be cool if they came and we had a mini reunion....:)
