Book Discussion: The Revolution The Revolution Starts at Home: Confronting Intim

Join Animal Rights Coalition (ARC) on September 14th  at 7pm in Rice Park for a book group discussion on _The Revolution Starts at Home: Confronting Intimate Violence Within Activist Communities_.

Ms. Magazine writes, “…[T]he editors of The Revolution Starts at Home have provided a landmark resource...For anyone who believes that the personal is deeply political in social justice circles, The Revolution Starts at Home is a must-read."

This book tackles the issue of how within movements dedicated to bettering the world and furthering liberation, there often can be interpersonal issues, ranging from sexual abuse to destructive relationships. This book and its ideas are important for those engaging in activism, as ARC believes we cannot be fighting for liberation if we are oppressing those closest to us.
