Annual Global Vegan Waffle Party!

It’s that coveted time of year again where the waffles are piping hot and the toppings seemingly endless: The fifth annual Vegan Waffle Party Day! This year, the Animal Rights Coalition is hosting the delicious waffle brunch from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Fuller Park located at 4800 Grand Avenue South, which is at the corner of 48th Street West and Grand Avenue South. It’s simple to enjoy this family-friendly event. The waffles are made by volunteers. All you need to do is bring one tasty topping to share. And be creative. Soy vanilla ice cream anyone? Peanut butter and banana? What about some bee-free honey with cinnamon? Like mentioned before, the possibilities are simply endless. The only thing we require is that that whatever you bring is 100 percent vegan, and that all ingredients are either listed on the packaging or written down on a note card.  Also – please bring your own reusable utensils. After you’ve had your fill of delicious waffles, make sure to check out Ethique Nouveau, ARC’s all-vegan boutique, where all of your purchases go toward animal advocacy. The store is located at 317 W. 48th Street, basically right next door to where the waffle party is!

Don't forget to bring your own plate and utensils because it helps us be good to the Earth.

See you there!

Yes! It's indoors, so the weather doesn't matter.

Looks like there's a good chance of rain on Saturday. Will the event happen despite bad weather?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
