Vegan Holiday Cookie Exchange

Spending an afternoon sampling a variety of vegan cookies....where do I sign up? Whether you are seeking new recipes, need goodies to feed holiday guests or looking for vegan baking camaraderie, please join us for a vegan cookie exchange. To participate, bake 4 dozen of one type of cookie. Share the type of cookie you plan to bring in the comments, so there are no duplicates. They must be made vegan (without dairy, eggs, butter, or any animal products). You will need to bring a written copy of your recipe or send an electronic copy beforehand to [masked]. Show up at 1:00 for the exchange. Please bring a container for the cookies you'll be taking. It will be a great opportunity to share vegan baking tips, while socializing and sipping on a cup of joe.

Join or login to comment.

Don't forget to bring a copy of your recipe or you can email it to [masked]. This way everyone will be able to make their favorites from the exchange.

I'm thinking shortbread, but I'm not sure yet. I'll comment again as soon as I'm decided :)

Here's a good article about how to ensure that your sugar is vegan....

Hi Dallas. This sounds fun! Are you going to distribute the recipes to everyone who is attending?

We are planning on collecting recipes to share. They'll either be posted or emailed afterwards.

I'm not much of a baker, would a vegan Oreo truffle be okay or are you keeping it strictly cookies?

      Yes! That sounds delicious :-)

Zoe, I recommend checking out the following vegan/gluten-free blogs. You should be able to find a good recipe on either one of these.
