Twin Cities Vegan Hotdish Cook-Off!

Join us for a delicious, fun time at the Twin Cities' first Vegan Hotdish Cook-Off  on Saturday, February 9th at Fuller Park at 48th and Grand Avenue in South Minneapolis! Think tater tots, green beans, pasta, and other yummy things all mixed up in a single baking dish - original recipes from area cooks and chefs all vying for one of two prize categories: Audience Favorite and Judge's Pick. What could be more Minnesotan?

Our celebrity judges include noted cookbook author Robin Asbell, Florence Brammer, who helped introduce a vegan main dish category at the Minnesota State Fair, and Minnesota State Fair judge Susanne Mattison!

Come support the Animal Rights Coalition while also tasting a variety of delicious food for only $1 per sample! Free beverages will be provided.

Oh, and your best Church Lady attire is welcome, but not required. Hope to see you there!

Great idea. I had to leave before the "winner" was selected. Curious to hear which dish was considered the "hottest." Props to the planners.

The winner was Katelynn Brown - she made the yummy spicy Mexican/Chili dish with cornbread topping. (I don't remember the actual name of the recipe.)

Are we supposed to bring a hotdish to enter, or are we just there to eat? :)

You, my friend, are just there to eat. Bring a lot of $1's. :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
