Hello. I have a strong interest in healthy eating. I am 99% vegetarian and an aspiring vegan. I am mostly interested in getting to know people that value healthy eating and picking up tips about cooking/eating.
Surrounding myself with people that have similar interests in a plant-based, whole food diet. I would like tips on how to navigate a food system that is based on animal products and processed foods.

Hi Matthew. Myself, Melissa M and Kris Anne run the Vegan runner meetup. We don't have one planned for October (yet) due to my racing and Kris nursing an injury.
We typically run on a weekday in the early evening. We run both MPLS and STP, usually in parks or by the lakes. 3 miles at a time, 1-2x a month. In the winter, we run at the Metrodome on either Tues or Thur every other week.

Hey Matthew, we have a vegan running group with lots of active people, and one member coaches volleyball and played in college and any of them would be happy to talk about veganism and an active lifestyle. We have workshops, grocery store tours, and there's a series of classes coming up focused on cancer prevention that includes cooking tips and demos.
Welcome to the dodgeball group. 1 - don't take any of the crap we write online here serious. 2 - show up early so you can warm up and get your arm ready. 3 - you don't have to stay the whole time, if you get tired or sore please leave. 4 - safety first. 5 - if you RSVP and cannot make it please update your status, many weeks there is a waiting list... hope you have a good time your first night! ...
