Hi, I'm a local vegan, henna artist, Animal Rights Coalition volunteer, Caring for Cats and Feline Rescue volunteer, and I am a care provider for seniors.
I was vegetarian for ten years and went vegan in 2012. I love the network of local vegans, and am so grateful to the Animal Rights Coalition (and their Vegan University program) for helping me transition.
I'm feeling so grateful to this group. My vegan mentor is fabulous. I've already gone to a few places to eat with her, and she's taken me shopping (whole new way to view the grocery store as a vegan instead of just vegetarian). Plus, meeting some of the other group members this week at a volunteer gathering was wonderful. Thanks for making this easier!

THX for yr email. We are youthful (60) & children are adults; we have 3 spoiled cats. Have been married for a little over 2 years. We love the outdoors --bicycle and hike lots during the warmer months. Yesterday we visited the Whole Food Store in Edina for the 1st time & discovered a new Quorn product - meatballs. Totally yummy in spaghetti last night. We enjoy trying new vegan recipes. Our friends don't really understand our vegan diet. Please write some more. Cheryl
So glad you're off to a great start, Amy!
