Hi everyone! My name is Patrick and I am from Portland, Oregon! I'm visiting your lovely city for the first time in September and been hard at work doing some research on places I need to visit while in town. Any advice on what to add would be amaaaazing! I will be with my Mom some of the time who is not vegan but doesn't mind going to most places :) I will be staying downtown but willing to venture out for the right vegan waffle :) - Patrick

Welcome, Patrick! Thanks for this great list! I would add Gorkha Palace for their lunch buffet, which is more than half vegan (and delicious). It's near downtown, I think, at the end of 4th Street.

Don't forget the Wedge Co-op for smoothies and awesome vegan ice cream (I don't know from experience, but I've been told that the coconut-based ice cream might taste better thank Franklin Freeze). Also, don't forget Seward Co-op and the Wedge Co-op for great vegan desserts

Going to have dinner at Red Stag Supperclub and Chino Latino since I am veg but my mom wants seafood options. Hopefully its worth it! :)

Not a restaurant, but don't miss Ethique Nouveau, the Twin Cities only 100% vegan boutique at 317 W 48th St. in south Minneapolis. The store carries a good selection of vegan snacks.
