Join us to discover how to transform seitan and tempeh into satisfying dishes inspired by NYC's Candle 79 Restaurant and Real Food Daily in L.A..  Chef Christine will show you how to make your own homemade seitan from scratch.  We will then prepare Orange-Glazed Tempeh Triangles, Sesame-Crusted Seitan with Edamame-Mint Sauce, Tempeh Cakes with Orange-Fennel Salad, and Salisbury Seitan with Vegan Gravy.

Exact location of class will be emailed to you after registering.

What a wonderful meetup with delicious food! Christine is a true pro who deftly handled a semi-raucous crowd and nearly a dozen vegan recipes with ease. While it was more of a demonstration than hands-on, there were opportunities to participate which was great.

This was a great class! The people were friendly and the food was really gourmet. Christine did a fabulous demo for us and gave us recipes to follow along. As a newbie to cooking (and also to vegan eating, as I am not vegetarian, nor vegan) I was hoping to learn something on the simple side that I could easily replicate. There was a lot going on as there were several recipes being worked on at once, so I simply decided to break it down for myself and just focus on the things I might find simple later, like the soba noodle recipe that only called for a few ingredients. Hoping to gain more cooking skills for myself in future classes!

Do we need to bring anything to class? (aprons/containers, etc)
Thanks and looking forward to seeing you all!
