Congrats Vix!

And thanks for the mention.  it may have been a while longer before it got started, but it sure wouldn't be much farther than
a sign-up sheet at dunia's if it were not for your enthusiasm.

I'll plan to come by sunday with some plants, and will get the veggies today.

We made it into the Boston Globe West last Thursday!
Yoris posted the article to the Files and Maynard posted it to the Message Board, so you can find it in either place if you haven't seen it yet. There were a few more photos in the printed paper including Keller, Drew and Joris. Ive saved them to the Files. Fun! Ive been told by friends, the article was picked up by the International Vegetarian Union and the National Restaurant Review.

Thank you Drew and Sue for your comments. I would also like to mention, as it was mentioned to the journalist but didnt make it into the article, John Calabria should be noted as co founder of the Vegan Metro West Network. John and I talked for years (yes, way too long) of starting a local vegan group and it wouldnt have started without his words or actions.
Also, not mentioned in the article - the members of the Vegan Metrowest Network email distribution list or our website: vegnetwork.org. There are over 100 on the distribution and every month the list grows!

Yikes! Now that we got some press, we need to get some things on the calendar. Its difficult to know what to plan as the holidays are starting up. But, so far we have a walk planned for 9:30AM Friday Nov 27th at the Minute Man National Park in Concord. Some other events are in the works for the end of Nov/ beginning of Dec.
And as always we take requests so email me!

Cheers,
Victoria
