I went from a carnivore to an only-humanely-raised-and-'processed' many years ago to a no-pork-or-beef-because-the-'humanely'-was-starting-to-show-holes about a year and a half ago to a no-matter-what-they-say-I-cant-eat-any-animals-anymore a year or so ago. Then, sometime in May of this year, I had a "waaaaait a minute" moment. "Ok what happens to the happy egg laying chickens, that have these wonderful lives, once they're done laying and BTW where do you get the chickens in the first place?". Didn't like the answers. I will so miss eggs. sigh. Didn't like what I found out about what happens to milk cows and, especially their calves either. Then there are the chicken hatcheries and what happens to the 'unnecessary' male chicks but lets not go there. I found out about you by dogpile.com - ing "vegan clubs" Hello all!
I have a professional organizing business. I also have 4 cats, a large bird, a German shepherd and, shockingly, no partner. Really? I can't imagine why someone wouldn't want to live in a house with a greater poundage of pets than people ;)
