Tell us a little about yourself, how long you've been vegan, and how you found our group

I've been vegan for five years after reading "The China Study" by by T. Colin Campbell and vegetarian for 25 after reading Peter Singer's "Animal Liberation." Rikki and Dave told Sam (my spouse) and I about this meetup at the very fun NARN sponsored Pints for Pigs Peace benefit at Central Cinema.

I'm a writer in Everett who works in communications. I write book reviews with a focus on vegan fiction and animal rights themes for I adopt older rescue shelties, (currently sisters Storm & Trooper, age 10).
