  • This location is shown only to members

Kirsten at DVS has kindly agreed to bend the 'party of 6 maximum' rule for us!

Join us in helping to rid the world of some pesky but delicious: banana nut muffins, tofu scramble, potatoes &  onions, oatmeal, pancakes, veggie sausage & cinnamon raisin toast.  Yay!

Detroit Vegan Soul
8029 Agnes St.
Detroit,  48214

(read important RSVP information further down in this event description)

Prices: Brunch entrees from $7 - $10, sides & extras from $3 - $4.  Check out the menu by clicking here.  Refreshingly, all items are vegan.  In fact, 100% Plant-Based • Trans-fat Free • Organic Ingredients • No Hydrogenated Oils • Dairy/Egg/Lactose Free • Naturally Cholesterol Free • Natural Sweeteners: Agave Nectar & Maple Syrup!

Area: Historic West Village.  Nestled in the center of The Villages- between English Village and Indian Village.  Super cute street!  The Villages are in between Historic Elmwood Cemetery and Belle Isle.  Free parking both on-street and in the lot behind the building.

SEATING IS LIMITED.  Detroit Vegan Soul is VERY kindly allowing us to have a larger group than what is ordinarily permitted.  IF YOU RSVP YES FOR THIS MEETUP, PLEASE BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN YOU CAN JOIN US.  If your plans change, please do us the courtesy of UPDATING your RSVP as soon as you're able.  We've had way too many members who've decided not to show up after they've claimed a seat; not fair to your fellow members who missed out due to limited seating & not fair to the restaurant staff who are expecting a certain number.  Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Lovely place! Super friendly staff & great food! I had the Homestyle Breakfast w/scrambler, potatoes & cinnamon toast, and the Snickerdoodle cake (oh my gosh!) for dessert. Yum!

Ah! VegFest- yes! There was always a line when I was able to sneak away from the table, so I didn't get to sample. ;) Glad you can make it to brunch, Ania! Looks like it's a full house, already! Nice!

    hey, kelli -
sounds great, but that is the day of the corktown home tour, tickets for which are gotten at the gaelic league from noon to 5 p.m. where I shall be vendoring my celtic scarves. after the chew, feel free to stop by. if you haven't toured corktown, it is a good thing to do. hope to see you next time. be well.

your nephews and niece report that they love the new dog park, which, by the way, is in corktown very near the gaelic league.
