Good group of people (and good #, even though we had some no-shows). :p Wish there was a better way for all of us to talk. Rectangular tables make for a few small groups of conversation rather that one big one. Delicious food and a server with a crazy-good memory- took all of our orders without writing anything down, and somehow got it right! Hope everyone who came to this event can join us next time!

It doesn't have its own lot, but there is street parking directly in front. There is also a parking structure across the street just a little bit north of the place.

What is the parking situation like?
Got it! :) Looking forward to seeing everyone and eating some delicious food!
Hi Stephany. Did you not receive the email that was sent to everyone who RSVP'ed? You should have. If you didn't, please let me know and we'll see what could be wrong. We had an alternate, however, no alternate needed, as Spice HAS power! See you there!
I'll keep checking this afternoon about the power outage issue, but I am coming from Ann Arbor, so if it's no go, please update and let me know!
Hi! I'm a new member looking forward to meeting you Saturday! :)

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. They're very accommodating and the food is DELICIOUS! Please note that Jim and/or I will *never* post a Meetup at a location we are unsure of or that doesn't have a great array of vegan options. :) We should warn you that the space is on the small side and the decor leaves much to be desired (pink and blue bubbles painted on a white wall? Really??) but the food and friendly service makes up for it. :)
You just ask that it be made without the fish sauce, Spice of Thai honors such requests

Good question. I just assumed someone already checked on this, but now that you mention it, it's good to ask. I know that at some Thai places only a few dishes can be made without fish sauce, and at other places all or non can. I'm sure many of us will benefit from an answer to this question. If no one responds before then, I'll call myself and post what the restaurant says.

I like Thai food but it often is seasoned with fish sauce. How is this restaurant for vegans? are they able to tell you which dishes don't have fish/oyster sauce?

just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
