Pre-Easter Picnic

Come join us for a Pre-Easter Picnic at White Rock Lake!

There is going to be a change in the picnic location due to wind and cold weather. We will be moving the picnic to Tara and Eric's (and babys) house. Same time but the picnic will end at 6:30 so that we can be out of their hair. So come on time and enjoy some good food! (If you were bringing a grill no need to bring one)

We live at The Mondrian City Place, which is at the corner of Blackburn (off of 75) and McKinney. There is a taller building, and then buildings in the back and side which are lofts. We live in a loft (#2217). I think the best thing for people to do is after getting on Blackburn, take a right on McKinney (it's a one-way street), and then take a right on the next street called Noble. As soon as you take a right, there is parking along the side of the street there. Park anywhere. Then, there is a big door coming in to the pool area. We will have that propped open for people to come in. As soon as you walk in the pool door there, we are the loft on the bottom right. We'll have something out, so it's obvious where we are. Just walk on over and through our wee gate.

If there is no more room on the street outside, people can always park in the bottom floors of the parking garage. It's public parking. They would need to just walk around the side then to get to our place. Our place is essentially on the corner of McKinney and Noble (right when you turn).

Please bring a Vegan Picnic style dish with you (potato salad, deviled tofu eggs, beans and lighter dishes). If you are planning on bringing a cold dish make sure to bring ice! And If at all possible, write what you will bring in your reply so that other people can see and plan accordingly.

I will provide the hotdogs and hamburgers for grilling. Along with supplies for vegan s'mores!
