Thank you for posting the recipes from the potluck Jamey and thank you to everyone who shared their recipes. Makes me more determined than ever to continue testing and trying out my own vegan meal plans. Happy Thanksgiving!

Great potluck. Thanks Jamey and everyone else who came. Does someone know how to make that gluten free pizza? It was really good. Where are people posting recipes?

Neal - I think Diane picked that pizza up from Whole Foods. At Park Lane (and most others I think) they make fresh pizza in their prepared foods section. Ask for a gluten-free crust and they have vegan cheese they can put on the pizza - no upcharge!

I found the post of recipes for the potluck, but the pizza wasn't included.

I will be bringing vegetables (zucchini and yellow) and possibly butternut squash soup. "can you tell I love squash"? I will have to think of the recipe bc I made it up myself. But I will bring copies with me.

So will fruit juice, bottled water, or paper items be provided? If not I could volunteer to bring some of those. Still deciding on whether or not to attend. Went to a Thanksgiving pot luck with the BVSTX (Black Vegetarian Society of Texas) along with ACT(Animal Connection of Texas) last weekend. Great conversation and wonderful food provided by both groups.

I also volunteer to bring something like coconut water or napkins as well

I have lots of bottled water, but yes, it would be great to bring another beverage such as juice or tea. I have plates/utensils/napkins, so we are good there.

Glad you made it to BVSTX potluck! Unfortunately I was out of town and couldn't attend. This will certainly be a smaller event, but still fun with great conversation nonetheless. Hope you can make it!

I've received some great recipes so far...! Please remember to put in your RSVP or comments here what you are bringing, and email me a recipe when you know. It doesn't have to be an "original" creation, just a link to a recipe you may have found online will do.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
