Daiya Pizza from Cruzer, Drinks @ Desert Rose

We'll meet at the Desert Rose restaurant, a brand-new place in Los Feliz. As you might notice from the pictures their website, they are not a vegan restaurant, but they are going to bring in Daiya cheese pizzas made especially for us from Cruzer Pizza next door. They may also have a vegan salad available.

As part of Farm Sanctuary’s Veg for Life Campaign on “veg for life”, Cruzer Pizza removed veal from their restaurant and replaced it with a large menu of compassionate vegan pizzas. Cruzer Pizza is the first and only establishment in the Western U.S. to be serving the revolutionary Daiya cheese. The restaurant has a large bar and seating inside, and a large outdoor patio seating area. Some of us will likely be seated at tables, while others will be mingling by the bar and stealing vegan pizza slices from other tables. I think they are going to reserve a special section just for us.

For those concerned about their health, the Desert Rose has an organic martini, which of course will combine perfectly with the pizza in your stomach.
