Pizza and Drinks @ Pizza Fusion, Santa Monica
We're excited to be holding this month's vegan drinks at Pizza Fusion, a very vegan-friendly restaurant in Santa Monica. With several different vegan wines and beers on tap, daiya or follow your heart cheese, and even a vegan brownie, we'll all be in for a treat!
From 2pm to 5pm we will hopefully have most of the place to ourselves. We are going to run this much like our event at the Desert Rose, where people will show up at the restaurant and either grab a seat at a table or mingle by the bar.
Because the restaurant has a capacity of around 50 indoors and 30 outdoors, we've set an RSVP cap of 100 (assuming 20 no-shows).
Please note that the gluten-free pizza crust is not vegan. There is a vegan salad on the menu for those with a gluten allergy.

Patty ShenkerThe very best thing about this meet up for me, even including the delicious wine & pizza, is the fact that there were so many vegan people there whom I have never met. There's a whole vegan movement & i met two lovely, younger vegans and so enjoyed talking & laughing with them. Always good to see friends as well. Great time...

Sassy Vegan Cupcake LadyA roomful of vegans (plus one carnivore - poor guy was in the right place at the wrong time)!!!! What can I say about our 'species' except for awesome, dude!!! A bunch of characters full of compassion & tofu - how great is that?? :) Where was the DJ or band, Lex?? What? No dance floor??? LOL!!!! The pizza was yummy, but the VEGAN BROWNIE rocked my taste buds!!! They charge $4.99 for it and it's worth a good $100!!! Love to all!!
