Fun times hanging out, dressing up in fireman costumes, eating raw vegan food and bumping into vegan friends! Thanks!

@Dan If you go again next year, consider getting a non-drinking ticket instead.

Thank you. I actually had the same thing plus some other food vendors so it could have been something else. Thanks for your response.

Did anyone get sick after the fest? I came down with a fever and body aches and know a couple of others that experienced like symptoms. I just want to know if we were the only ones.

Decent event, just a note ~ i noticed that some beer vendors touched the reusable glass to the beer tap spout, so maybe for next time if there are reusable glasses make a note for them not to do that. For Health reasons that is why they typically do not refill glasses at bars, they just give you a new one... obviously we want to be good for enviro so, you know... just a note for next time :)

Is there a code for us to get the old discounted price?

@neil I went last year and all the food was vegan. Some of the food trucks have dairy and/or meat on their regular menu, but at the event all their food is vegan.

    Thank You Quarry Girl :)

@neil: Yes, it is an all vegan event. The food and beer will all be vegan as it has been the past 2 years. For coverage on past events, please see:

Is this really an all vegan event? I noticed on the website for the Fest, that there was some french fries company that had listed on the menu "Goat Cheese"... pretty odd and gross, right?

Do i have to be concerned about any of the beers being non-vegan, or are they all verified?

    May 2, 2012

  • quarrygirl

@Tony Yes, that's right! I sent out a warning on Twitter and updated the blog and posted on the front page when ticket prices were going to go up. Now that they have, the vegan drinks crew can still get tix at the original price. Hope to see you there! :)

    May 1, 2012

  • Tony

So basically the prices have now gone up by $5 and NOW a $5 discount is being offered !!!

    May 1, 2012

  • Tony

To quarrygirl: When you made the original posting about the event, it didn't say "all ticket prices will increase by $5 in May". I know this because I copied and pasted word for word what was written when I posted the event on several other meetup groups. When did that info get added?

I was just wondering if there was going to be a discount on the tickets this year? I remember we were lucky the first year with that.
