Our last event was such a success so we are going to do it again! VeggieDate and the Animal Advocacy Museum are teaming up to bring you a mixer and dance party for vegans and vegetarians who are interested in dating. We think this will be a great opportunity to meet like minded people who are available for a relationship. VeggieDate, founded in 1999, is the award winning vegan owned and operated vegetarian dating site generally considered to be the pioneer and leader in online vegetarian dating. The Animal Advocacy Museum is dedicated to educating visitors about animal issues and is much more than just a museum. It has become a hub for vegans and activists to gather, connect, share perspectives and learn from guest speakers and presenters. Don't worry, there will not be gruesome images in the event space. If you would like to learn more about the museum, visit:

This will be a fun, casual, and eco-friendly event for vegetarians, vegans, and veggie raw foodists. Drinks and appetizers will be served. We will supply plates and utensils and we invite you to bring your own reusable plates and utensils (to this and all events where disposable items may be used) to prevent waste. Our "No Pressure Dating System" was so successful at the last event so we are bringing it back. To help create a no pressure atmosphere ( and to serve as a safe way for people who know each other to find out if a crush they have on a friend is mutual), each participant will be given a name tag with a unique i.d. number. At the end of the evening, you will have the opportunity to give your name and contact information and the id numbers of other participants that you would like to get to know better. If any participant you want to get to get to know better would also like to get to know you, both of you will be emailed each other's contact information. We will also have a speed dating session during the evening for those of you who would like to participate. At the end of the evening, we will turn up the music for dancing.

You do not need to be a VeggieDate member to participate in this event, however if you are not a member, you are invited to create a profile for free:

While based on prior experience we expect most participants to be looking to date members of the opposite sex, all sexual orientations and genders are welcome.

Once again, here's the link to pre-pay for this event and get the discount:

Location: The museum space is located at 280 S. Los Robles Ave. Pasadena, CA 91101. Please note that the museum is on the property of the Throop Unitarian Universalist Church. When approaching the Animal Advocacy sign inside the church parkinglot, go to the left side of the building, up the stairs. You can park in the parking lot if space is available and there is also plenty of street parking.

Hi, is anyone coming from LA that would be willing to give me a ride? I'm staying around Echo Park, but I can meet you somewhere more convenient and help out with the gas money.

If you don't find a ride, you could take the Red Line to Grand Central Station, switch to the Gold Line, get off at Del Mar and it's a few blocks East of the Del Mar Station.

    Although I've already pre-payed,
    I've had two rides cancel
(which is great for them, go cupid).

Could someone please give me a ride
there and back from North Hollywood?

    Thank you.
