Let's celebrate St Patrick's Day with greens! Please bring a delicious and healthy vegan brunch dish to share. Greens don't have to the centerpiece of the dish, but there should be some green element to it. Be creative - healthy food doesn't have to be dull!
The potluck will take place from 11:30 - 2:30 pm at Dianne's and Dennis's house in West Orange. We will begin eating at 12:00. If you think you're going to be late, please consider bringing a dessert.
Because this potluck is taking place in a private home, the guest limit is set at 22 and Montclair Vegans members may bring only one guest with them. Please be considerate of other members and only RSVP yes if you really do plan to attend.
The address will be emailed to attendees a day or two beforehand. People with allergies should know that Dianne and Dennis have 3 cats. Please bring a serving utensil for your dish as well as your own plate, utensils and water bottle or cup to save on waste and help Dianne with clean up. While children are welcome, the house is not "kid-proof" so please keep an eye on your little ones if you bring them with you.
Montclair Vegans events are a safe haven for vegans. Everyone is welcome, but if you are not vegan, please know that debating veganism is not allowed at our events. Conversely, vegans should not lecture omnivores on what they should or shouldn't be eating. Our events should be fun for everyone. Also be aware that while everyone is welcome at our potlucks, all food must be vegan, which means no meat, cheese, milk, eggs or honey.
Please don't RSVP unless you are serious about attending. If you something comes up and can no longer attend, remember to change your rsvp to "no". People who are chronic no-shows or who repeatedly drop out less than 24 hours before an event starts are frequently removed from the group.
