Here's the playdoh recipe:
5 c water
5 c flour
2 1/2 c salt
2 Tbsp cream of tartar
8 Tbsp vegetable oil
Food coloring (optional)
Mix water, salt, cream of tartar, & food coloring. Cook on medium-low heat, stirring until mixture is hot. Add oil. Stir in flour a cup at a time, stirring in b/w each addition. Mix until dough pulls away from pan & is no longer sticky. Dump dough on counter, let cool a bit, knead.
