Indian Dining at Indian Delight

PLEASE refrain from heavy fragrances, perfumes, cologne, aftershave, etc. They can trigger migraines and aggravate asthma. Let's save our noses for the wonderful aromas at the restaurant.

Indian Delight is a relatively new restaurant on Cleveland's west side. I have not eaten there myself but have heard good things from some who have.

http://www.classicindianfood.com/ is the web site. The phone is[masked] and the manager's name is Sonny.

We will be limited to 20 but we will all be able to sit together. Sonny assures me that he can do at least 12 of the veg dishes totally vegan, plus all the appetizers and a soup or two.

While Indian cooking is very flavorful, it is not hot unless you request that.

If you bring a guest who is not veg, please have them refrain from ordering meat. Not everyone wants to see or smell it. After all, it IS a veg meetup.

That's it, hope to see you there. This restaurant is walking distance to the Happy Dog which always has live music on Saturday nights, so that's just one suggestion for some fun after the meetup. As always, more suggestions are welcome.

peace,

Don

Also, I am new to the Vegan Meetup Group and the west side. I am an east sider, Chardon. Perhaps I can car pool with or follow another east sider to the dinner and/or Happy Dog!!

I am a new vegan on the waiting list. When will I find out if I will be able to attend? If no open spots become available perhaps I can meet up with the group at Happy Dog's?

Sorry to miss this but already have another commitment that night. Will look forward to the reviews and hopefully a future meetup at this location as I love Eastern Indian Food.

Does anyone know whether they use MSG in their dishes? Nearby Minh Anh, swears they don't put it in, if requested, but I can always tell later that my veg dishes have MSG in it. Would appreciate a reply to this question before committing, and would appreciate knowing for sure. Perfumes, etc. set off migraines, so do sulfates, sulfites, MSG and other food preservatives. Thx.

I think this might be question better asked of the owner or manager you can contact Sonny and I'm sure he'll be happy to let you know. I've never known Indian restaurants to use MSG but I couldn't say for sure. so thx Don
