Saturday, December 28th: 1pm to late: A CELEBRATION OF FRIENDS, FOOD & MUSIC 2013, featuring ZACH!

The Vegan Project - Lake County is hosting another fun and spirited Zach House Concert and vegan potluck!

Please join us on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 1 o'clock pm to whenever o'clock at Sandie Sajner's house at 1928 North Ridge Road, Painesville, OH 44077 for A CELEBRATION OF FRIENDS, FOOD & MUSIC 2013, featuring ZACH!

The Vegan Project is pleased to announce a very exciting, very special 'Zach Shares the Love' video project, which will be filmed on Saturday, by Alejandro Rivera and his crew, and Jeanne Petrus-Rivera.

All are welcome to participate as fans / extras in this video. Anyone who is interested in being in the video should come prepared to be on camera and will be required to sign a video release form. Please dress accordingly. Weather permitting, we will be outside on the decks and in the yard.  Primp and be prepared to be smoozing to the camera.  We will direct everyone as to what you need to do, once you get to the party!

You may also choose to not participate, and that is perfectly okay with us. This a party, too, so there will be good food, great conversation, amazing music, and so much fun with friends, old and new!

If you have any questions or concerns or want more info, please private message Lucie or call Sandie personally at[masked] or both of us at The Vegan Project - Lake County.

Even if you are not vegan, please join us to find out "what vegans eat"! (Thank you, Mark!)

Zach will sing, serenade and mesmerize us with his compositions from his newest album, The Antidote, as well as some of our old favorites! For anyone not familiar with our friend Zach, check this out: http://www.zachmusic.net/

We are asking everyone to please bring a $10 love donation for Zach!

For the vegan potluck, you can bring a vegan entrée, side-dish, snacks, dips, desserts, beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to share! Just remember that in Sandie's house, there is no stove or oven, so please bring your hot food with something to keep it warm, such as a hot plate, crock pot or electric skillet.

For those who need to come late, we are keeping the party going into the evening hours as well. Although, if you are interested in being in the video, you need to be here at 1pm.  Filming is finished by dark (4:30pm).  If you need to, remember to bring a sleeping bag and pillow for those who need to stay over. If we run out of food, there's always vegan pizza delivery and Chinese takeout!!

We'd like to keep the music going into the evening, after Zach's concert is over, so if you have an instrument that you play, bring it along! Sandie does have a piano, although admittedly out-of-tune, for anyone who plays!

For more info contact, Sandie at[masked] or Lucie at[masked]-8983.

It is a potluck but remember that in my house, (I've been mostly raw) I actually do not own a stove! So please bring your food with something to keep it warm!!!...hot plate, crock pot, etc!  I do have lots of electrical outlets!

Arrive at 1. If you are interested in being in the video, permission slips will be available to sign and the instructions will be given upon arrival as to how the filming will be directed.  Zach will sing, serenade and mesmerize us with his compositions from his newest album, The Antidote,  as well as some of his old favorites!!! We will eat when most people have arrived and the filming is finished.

My house is very 'kid family friendly' so please bring your children. For those who need to come late, we are keeping the party going into the evening hours as well. If you need to, bring a sleeping bag and pillow for those who need to stay over. Be prepared to have a cat or dog snuggling up with you.

Please bring a vegan entree', side dish, snacks, dips, desserts, beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), to share!

If you cannot get here for 1pm, please come when you can. We are keeping the fun going into the evening. If we run out of food, we'll order Pizza and Chinese!

I have an 'out of tune' piano, so if you are a musician (or not), have an instrument, please bring with you and when Zach is all sung out (he is tireless), we'll keep the music going into the evening, too!  Hopefully someone knows how to play the piano!

Please bring $10 for a love donation for Zach's concert!

It was beyond any and all of my expectations! Who knew?!!! What a great turn out and fun time! It started out as a Zach Freidhof House concert two months ago! Then Lucie Coll opened it all up to making and filming a video of Zach to submit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show for her to see Zach performances and give him National attention...then it went to Lucie contacting Jeanne Petrus-Rivera to ask if her husband Alejandro Rivera would do the video taping, to Jeremy Michael Walsh for the sound man and then to Stephen Edward Cinch with the Drone...MY GOODNESS, it all just exploded into a massive wonderful afternoon!!! The THANK YOU goes to Lucie Coll!!!! I appreciate opening up my house for parties and fun times to all of my friends!!! The food was so awesome that it's indescribable!!! The friendships, conversations and comradely was truly amazing!!!

When one hosts a potluck and a Zach house concert, it is not certain how many people will be attending and how much food needs to be brought. However, this group didn't miss a beat and everything was totally AWESOME!!! The drone, the total excitement of the camera with skits and music, was all worth any and all preparation. Needles to say the food, friends and fun was totally amazing

Sandie is a very gracious hostess. The food abundant and tastie. Zach was wonderful and the filming of the vidio was very interesting.

This sounds like an absolute blast am so sorry my blonde blue eyed engaging 3 year old boys won't be there to experience the event and participate in the film. We do this cute thing in our family. We all put an upright but bent arm with clenched fist fingers facing forward and say "Plant Strong!" It is the cutest thing! When we go out to eat Jarvie always pulls the waitress aside and says, "We eat Plant Strong and hope we can have a good meal here!" Is that a riot? We just started this revolution in July 2013. So we are relatively new on the scene. At Thanksgiving I told them the could eat anything. They still opted not to eat any meat fish or fowl. Min fact the day after when we were at a friend's house I put a small amount of turkey and ham on each of their plates. Jarvie looked at his plate, pointed at the turkey and ham and said, "Mama get that off my plate!" Giles left it on his plate but never took a bite! This is the power of starting this stuff early!

We have been looking forward to this celebration for a few weeks now! We cannot come. We are too sick! We have been sick for more than a week. Many days of fever, GI problems, hacking cough, runny nose, earache and so on. You wouldn't want us there either. I actually made a wonderful vegan chili with veggie crumbles. Delicious. I guess I will have to eat it myself. My twin boys who are 3 years 10 months won't have any part of it! They are at the height of their pickiness. Used to be they would eat anything I set in front of them and had quite a sophisticated palette! Anyway we hope to do this with all of you next year. They have been dying to come to one of these meet-ups with me. I hope everyone has a wonderful meal and an amazing time with live music by Zach filling their ears.
