Dinner at Frickaccio's

Terry Frick is the owner of the new Frickaccio's  on the West Side and she contacted me about booking a meetup there.

They are new and the web site is not yet up but they have a number of vegan items, including desserts, on their regular menu, plus they will be doing specials for us this evening. The name says it's pizza but it is so much more. They also have some no oil options.

In addition to the specials, Terry is offering us a 20% discount for this meetup!

PLEASE be considerate and hold off on the perfumes, colognes, after shaves, etc.  It can really ruin a dinner.

ALSO, if you bring someone who's not vegan, that's fine, and we hope you do, but make sure they do not order any meat, which is available at the restaurant.  It's a vegan meetup and everyone will be much happier.

You may have seen the name at the West Side Market. This is a branch of that, with a more extensive menu. There is an actual chef who seems imminently qualified and understands vegan.

    I had the BBQ black bean and sweet potato burger on their homemade bread. It was so delish. There was also samples of their homemade breads. They are great. Next time will try to bring wine to share. :)

    Wow oh wow oh wow! I sure had an great time tonight with Executive Chef Todd Rothman and EVERYONE that was there! What excellent food, conversations, insight, and sharing of experiences and wisdom! Super great people and fun! Sorry that Don couldn't make it (What? Why not Don? What happened? We missed you!). Chef Todd kept the table filled with providing us with samples of his three featured breads, olive oil for dipping and fresh made hummus served with mixed veggies! He and the staff were very accommodating and they provided us all with the 20% discount for our meal! We had an entire vegan special menu for this evening but even if you go on any one day, you can still get the vegan pizza, the black bean burger, vegan Crab cakes, Chocolate French Silk pie and the selection of the breads! Worth making the trip! You are all such an awesome bunch!
