Please share with us what motivated you to transition to a healthier, plant-based diet and lifestyle .

To create a holistic, natural practice that would enhance my health. It made sense to give my body the proper nutrition to prevent many of the debilitating diseases that drugs do not cure. Get to the source of the problem instead of the symptom. Then give the body what it needs. The body will respond accordingly.

Do you have any favorite foods or dishes?

Green smoothies made with Vitamix. Greens, especially kale, are the most nutrient dense foods. We should all love our greens. Popeye knew the power of greens.

Are you vegan? Vegetarian? Veg-curious?

Whole food plant-based. I have completely eliminated all animal products. I love eating raw and certainly feel more energized when I do. My goal is 85% raw and 15% cooked. I am working toward that goal.

If you are not vegan just yet, how is your transition going and how can we help?

Back in my youth, I enjoyed good health. I ate just about anything. As the years went by, I soon realized if I didn't take care of the gift of good health that was given me, it would be gone. I now am very aware of how my health is affected by what I put in it.


A health advocate and nutritional coach. I have been practicing on myself for about 20 years. I have studied whole plant-based nutrition. It is a pleasure to share knowledge with others who have the passion and desire to do the same.
