I read 21 Day Weight Loss Kick Start by Neal Barnard. He was in Forks Over Knives, which I actually didn't watch till last week. As soon as I was aware of all the health implications, and how straight forward the book was (not to mention cited on EVERYTHING) I couldn't NOT become vegan. The way the body works on plant based foods made sense to me, and feeling this way for the last couple of months has proven that this works for me. Here I am, and happy to be here.
Sweet Potatoes and Black beans. I have an addiction to guac, and make an almond milk fruit and kale smoothie on an almost daily basis.
Vegan, I have cheated, but I am so close it hurts.
I need cookies, like, fo' real! I have not been able to devote the time it will take to become familiar with how to use egg alternatives or applesauce in my baking, I want to learn that.
Newly Vegan, trying my best to stay as healthy as possible. Desperately need to learn to bake, but thrilled with how I feel and how my body responds. I am not perfect, but I try.
