For a long time I have thought that animals did not need to suffer and die for my consumption. I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian since age 16, and became a vegan in 2013.
So hard to choose! My current addiction is Sahara Cuisine's oil-free, tahini-free sweet roasted red pepper hummus.
I follow Dr. Esselstyn's no-oil, whole foods vegan diet. I am also gluten-free and do my best to avoid soy.
