Please share with us what motivated you to transition to a healthier, plant-based diet and lifestyle .

My whole life I grew to love ALL food. Because of that I ended up overweight most of my existence and also earned the diabetic type 2 badge. I am going to turn it around. I have always loved animals as well as health and realized by embracing better nutrition, I also support life of animals.

Do you have any favorite foods or dishes?

Lately, Basil!

Are you vegan? Vegetarian? Veg-curious?


If you are not vegan just yet, how is your transition going and how can we help?

I am Vegan. In 2012 I started cutting out about 60-70% of Meat. I also at cheese at the time. I realize now that for me, the best way to do this is to go all in. 1/1/2013 I gave up all Animal based edibles and engage in regular running. Its been great so far and I really believe I can keep this going especially as I learn to cook better
