Originally motivated when Lisa Simpson became a vegetarian.
Just one? Can't choose.
Vegan and loving it.
I became a lacto-octo vegetarian when I was young and stayed that way for fifteen years. I started the transition to veganism as an adult and have considered myself vegan for about a year. I view pure veganism as a goal to constantly work towards with the understanding that perfection is not attainable. With that in mind, I considered myself vegan when I cut out egg and dairy products from my diet, but I suppose I'm in a constant state of transition: over the past few months I have removed bee products, wool and it's derivatives, and silk from my lifestyle. I have also become more vigilant about only buying cruelty-free body and cleaning products. I am in the process of transitioning my dog to a plant-based diet In the future I would like to work towards replacing my "pregan" wool and leather clothing and foot ware.
I'm a vegan who doesn't know many vegans. I'd like to change that!
