Vegan Restaurants, Bakeries and Products in Northeast Ohio Area.

I am currently modifying my diet from being a part-time vegetarian to a vegan. I do enjoy sweets and desserts and am trying to find places where I can shop for them. As I am fairly new to this lifestyle I am not that familiar with businesses in the area where I can shop or eat out to support my vegetarian (soon to be vegan) goals. Any recommendations?

Doing my own research I have compiled the following list to begin working with:
-Tree Huggers Cafe in Berea, Ohio (http://treehuggerscaf...)
-Breadsmith in Cleveland, Ohio (http://www.breadsmith...)
-Vitamix Corp's recipes ()
-Red Cedar Coffee (http://www.redcedarco...)
-Earth Song Discovery Farm (http://earthsongfarm....)
-Teeccino ()
-Root Cafe (http://theroot-cafe.c...)
-PepperMint Thai Cuisine in Pepper Pike, Ohio, (http://www.peppermint...)
-Stir Crazy in Lyndhurst, Ohio (http://www.legacy-vil...)
-Mustard Seed Market & Cafe in Solon and Akron, Ohio (http://www.mustardsee...)
_Nature's Bin in Lakewood, Ohio (http://www.naturesbin...)

try Maggie's Vegan Bakery on W 25th just NOrth of Lorain
also find the blog foro Cleveland Veganz there is a listing on there of vegan friendly places.
the Veg Ohio web site has listings by city but they are not updated often.
If you come to any of the meetups, bring a pencil and paper and you will get tons of ideas for places to shop and eat from the other attendees.
good luck in your transition

Also, a member of this meetup, Lea Jacobson, operates a home-based business, Terra Bakery, which is totally vegan and totally delicious all the time. You can find her by searching the membership of the meetup and also on facebook and the web.

Hi Elliot, My name is Stacie I nave a vegan chocolate business in Lyndhurst. We sell Organic Fair Trade Chocolates as well as our milkless Milk Chocolate we call Light Chocolate. That really helped my brother when he was newly vegan. We make great Brownies, Pb Cups and Killer Frozen Bananas. We are at several cleveland farmers markets and festivals. And on the web Http:// Best Wishes.
