Tucson Vegan Meetup Message Board › Urban Fresh is Pilot Testing a Weekly Meal Program
Urban Fresh let me know about a new Weekly Meal Pick-Up Program they are piloting. It's a fantastic idea, I just wonder if people will be up for actually going down town every day if they aren't already nearby. Below are the details if you want to participate or know anyone who might - the pilot phase has discounted pricing.
Too busy to cook your own healthy meals? Let us help to keep you on track by providing you with meals for the week! Urban Fresh is launching a two-week test-pilot program, at a reduced price, to test the feasibility of providing a special menu of five different dinners to our clients who would like to pick-them up and take them home on a weekly basis. Our meals will provide healthy plant-based options with minimal to no oils.. It’s like having your own personal chef!
- Urban Fresh will provide a menu consisting of five different dinners for the week. Dinner includes an Entrée and a Side Dish(es). Dessert will be available for an additional cost. This initial test-pilot requires a purchase of all five days.
- Participation requires pick-up on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:30 pm and pre-payment in full at Monday’s pick-up.
- Orders will need to be placed by Friday mornings, January 25th and February 1st. Deposit required at time of order.
Initial Test- Pilot $10 Per Person / Per Day - $50 Per Week (Reduced Price for Initial Test-Pilot Only)

Congratulations to Urban Fresh for providing a weekly meal program. This is a fantastic vegan option for those living downtown! Perhaps they will consider a delivery service in the future especially for the plant-based community that cannot travel as easily.
This sounds great for working/chore-busy folks. The price is reasonable too, I'll look into it when my funds are more flexible. Thanks for the info! Deb
