Wednesday night walk Pueblo Park

Look for Jo, co-organizer at 7:00pm with the group of people gathering on the sidewalk by the bathrooms. If you're on you way but running late call or text me at (702)[masked], because we don't wait around. Come join us on the flagship meetup for our group! The great thing about this walk is that there are varying levels of walkers. We seem to divide into 2 and sometimes 3 groups based on speed. However, you would be surprised at how quickly the slow walkers who attend regularly begin to keep up with the faster groups! The park stretches itself out narrowly from Rampart to Buffalo, paralleling Lake Mead Drive. Winding paved paths with natural flora and fauna are complemented by bursts of additional low-water plantings, such as rows of honey mesquite trees. Don't forget to bring water!!! If you've never been to this park, it's across from McDonalds on W. Lake Mead, however, a median prevents left turns into the park! Simply go W on Lake Mead 1 street past Buffalo to Mariner and do a U-Turn, then take a right into the park. The total walking distance is about 3 miles. Dogs love this walk, and don't forget bring water for your 4-legged furry guest.
