Vegan Chick'n & Waffles Pool Party

This location is shown only to members

We're going to have a pool party and BBQ. Sort of.

This is a celebration of the Global Vegan Waffle Party! What? Yeah, Global Vegan Waffle Party!
But since we're doing it mid-day, we thought we'd add something more lunchy. So we thought, how about vegan chick'n? Hence "Chick'n & Waffles."

WHERE IT IS:
The party Location: Elaine and Ed's community pool and picnic area. This is in the southeast part of the Vegas valley.
You will need the gate code to enter, so please call Elaine beforehand to get that: [masked].
Please park in guest parking near the pool.

WHAT TO BRING:
If you plan to swim, please bring a swimsuit and towel. You do not need to bring chairs.
We will offer water, juice, and iced tea. If there's something special you want to drink, bring that. Please make sure whatever you bring is in plastic or aluminum, not in glass containers.

FOOD:
We will have homemade vegan waffles, chickpea cutlets, gardein chick'n, corn chips, and watermelon. You can bring more food to share if you want, but you don't need to. If you do, please make sure it's 100% vegan.

KIDS:
Please bring them.

DOGS:
They're welcome to come. But they can't go in the pool area.

Party ends at 5pm.

The best way for people to eat less meat is to serve them delicious vegan food. All of my friends were skeptical when I told them what I would be eating; but thanks to our very, very kind and generous hosts I was able to "open their minds." I will definitely be trying more vegan products in the future. Also everyone who attended was so nice in sharing their experiences with trying to eat healthy. With so much stress in my life I really needed a relaxing day.
