Get ready for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, potluck-style ... minus the turkey, giblets and family feuding. We're even doing this mid-afternoon, just like the real thing. Please bring your favorite traditional dish to share with the group. Homemade or store-bought are fine as long as they're completely vegan. Also, once you decide what you're bringing, please post it on your RSVP. It's OK to have duplicates, but posting will help ensure we don't all bring the same thing.
If you've never been to Club Charleston, they have lots o' billiards tables, darts, a place for us to hang, and best of all ... cheap drinks.
Here's a list of ideas, but please feel free to share your own traditions, as we're a very open-minded group. If you have any questions about how to make traditional dishes using vegan ingredients, please contact one of the organizers. We're happy to help!
turkey (substitute, of course)
stuffing
cranberries
dinner rolls/bread
green bean casserole
mashed potatoes
gravy
sweet potatoes/yams
pie
For anyone who might not come because they don't know what to cook (gentlemen, you know who you are ... lol), Red Velvet has some great vegan Thanksgiving dishes. I'll post the info on the message board.
Here are some vegan Thanksgiving recipes:

I'm also going to bring some Celebration Roasts:

And maybe a fruit salad or something along those lines.
I will bring an entree of some sort.
Excited, yet may be a tad late as helping w/ AOK St Judes event.
We might have to buy drinks. I'm not sure, since this is the first time we have brought food in.
That's OK. I plan to buy drinks. And I'm sure a few of us can go in on pitchers or bottles to make whatever quota we need. So even people who plan not to drink alcohol should fee comfortable coming to this potluck :)
Cool. Us too. I'm sure it's like any bar...water will be free. Soft drinks and juice might be a couple of bucks. They probably wouldn't mind if we brought in personal water bottles. I was at the store today wondering if I could get away with bringing in a couple gallons (like the previous potluck), but I wasn't too sure, so I decided to pass. I think they are pretty laid back there, so we'll find out for sure today.
I plan to bring some Silk nog and ask them to add bourbon :)
mmm... we will survive! :)
Fall color feast... grated butternut squash, red peppers, purple papas, garlic, pine nuts, wild rice, yellow curry, spices , coconut milk... slow cooked in a pressure cooker with the main ingredient which i await to hear what you may feel that is!

I'll bring pie :)
