Vegas Veg is a nonprofit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada comprised of vegans, vegetarians, and veg-friendly people who have a passion for making a difference for animals, the planet, and people.
Vegas Veg is online at VegasVeg.org
Vegas Veg works to end human dependence on animals by promoting a compassionate, healthy plant-based lifestyle through grassroots educational activities. Vegas Veg promotes a plant-based lifestyle (veganism) and provides social support to maintain a plant-based lifestyle. Members educate and inspire each other to become vegan, stay vegan, and to become better vegans.
Please see our amazing list of accomplishments here: http://www.vegasveg.org/about.html
Vegas Veg does not specifically endorse any business or religion. We strive to remain independent and unbiased, focused on reducing animal suffering and death through vegetarian and vegan diets.
Vegas Veg "meetups":
Vegas Veg conducts a wide variety of campaigns and utilizes meetup and facebook to help organize many of them. The Vegas Veg meetup calendar will be reserved for official Vegas Veg events that meet the following criteria:
We believe that there are two parts of effective vegan advocacy: helping people go vegan and helping people stay vegan. To address the latter portion, we sponsor another meetup group that conducts supportive social events for vegetarians and vegans, V3 online at http://www.meetup.com/v-three/
