If you RSVP show up.
We've talked to Elsa's and confirmed an event with them on Saturday the 31st at 2:00 PM. They are a small family run business - as such we've heard that the service can be a little slow, so go expecting a relaxed event and plenty of time to hang out and visit. This is our first time trying out this venue, but we've heard from a number of members that their food is great.
If you've never had Ethiopian food, it's a series of various dishes, lots of lentils, stewed greens, carrots and onions, seasonings similar but different from say an Indian curry. The food is served with Injera bread - flat stretchy crepe like bread torn off in chunks and used in place of silverware. They also have Sambusa pastries which are supposed to be very good.
They said they have seating for 45 people, although it looks like 28 would be pushing their capacity - will have to confirm - has anyone been in there regularly and can say if they can accommodate that many people?
Please - respect the RSVPs, if you choose to come RSVP and SHOW UP! We understand that life happens and if you might not make it - please update your RSVP to no! This is absolutely necessary to keep events free and work with venues.
