Introduction
I enjoy eating foods from many lands! Can't make Abyssinia this week but would like to another time.
Why are you interested in the Vegetarian Meetup group?
I am moving toward a more plant-based nutrition; went to the RAVS last night and the movie, "Fork Over Knives". Plan to hear Colin Campbell when he comes to speak.
What are your three favorite vegetarian dishes?
My rainbow salad Butternut/sweet potato soup Sauteed collard greens/cabbage/kale with nuts, garlic/onion ...plan on adding cumin to my spice repertoire, as add freshly ground cinnamon and nutmeg to a cold-weather soup
How long have you been vegetarian (if applicable)?
Not there yet, but progressing
What are some of your interests & hobbies?
Art, Healing-Reiki, Integrated Energy Work, walking/hiking, kayaking, bicycling, swimming, working out, horseback riding, music/culture/ethnic dining/concerts/festivals/The Finger Lakes...
What is your favorite restaurant that serves vegetarian food?
Most of the Indian, Greek-spanokopita, Aladdin's-veggie soups,The Owl-Atomic Eggplant was a great jewel...

FYI Walking Tour of Golden Oak Farm HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED - the organizers of the last group would not grant me access to event tools I needed to run their events smoothly & didnt respond to my several attempts to work it out.
