“ This group is exactly what I have been looking for. 1. I would like to make friends 2. I want to work with like minded people towards a common goal. I am so happy to have found this group! I do some volunteer work for UPC (United Poultry Concerns) and Farm Sanctuary. Which is just passing out flyers and also posting flyers on community boards. I also recently held my own Chicken Appreciation and Respect day on May 4th. Which is a yearly event that UPC celebrates and of course encourages its members to set up their own local celebrations. I also give monthly financial support to the above groups and HSUS and Chicken Run Rescue. I want to do more than give out flyers and give financial support. I think this group is going to be about action! And with this many members, wow, I think together we can make a real impact that will evoke positive changes for the welfare of many species of animals. Together we can do this. It will be hard work, but I am not afraid of hard work. ”
