Maximum Tolerated Dose is a feature-length documentary about the modern animal experimentation industry. Using investigative footage (including the capture and trade of primates in Asia and the liberation of beagles from a breeding facility in Spain), interviews, and old archival materials, the film chronicles the testimonials and experiences of former scientists, lab technicians, and animals once used for experimentation. Q&A via Skype with director Karol Orzechowski afterwards.
