We drove in from Gulfport for our very first Vegan Thanksgiving meal (we are recent vegans). We really enjoyed ourselves! The jazz band was a wonderful addition to the already fantastic atmosphere. I agree that the service could have been more organized and we had to wait at least 30 minutes between each course, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again for a Saturday brunch when we can make it into the city. The soup was AWESOME, and all of the other food was delicious, although ours was lukewarm also, the flavors were great. It's unfortunate that the chefs prepared such wonderful fare, only to have the temperature take it down a notch. One of the owners sat with us for a few minutes and told us a little about himself, which was lovely. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The jazz band was a great addition this year! The food was delicious, unfortunately it was cold. We had it reheated and when it came back the plates were blazing, but the food was tepid. Bummer. I didn't finish my entree (because I didn't want to send it back to be reheated a second time) and our server cleared the table without asking if I wanted a to go box. Service was really friendly but also really slow, and when we got our bill they'd added gratuity without letting us know. All in all, the service seemed very disorganized (though very nice), the food was good (but cold), and the wine was tasty (but slow in getting to us). Glad this exists in NOLA, but wish they'd executed it better.

This is our second year coming to the Thanksgiving Extravaganza. The owners are super friendly, and I really appreciate the servers and chefs working on a holiday. That said, I found the execution to be very disappointing. As was the case last year, the entrees were cold. The server was gracious about going to reheat it, but all they did was stick it under the salamander, which left everything but the surface lukewarm. The people working the floor were friendly enough, but they weren’t divided into sections, which made service both slow and confusing (we repeatedly had people asking us which course we had been served). Finally, I was really frustrated to have an 18% gratuity added to my credit card without them telling me. I had planned to tip in cash, and didn’t want to put that much on my card. When I was asked if I could do cash instead, I was told it was too late.

I'm confused. I'm trying to make res. right now, but I don't know what time most people are going to be there? I'm not coming as a single, but I'd like to meet new people just like others would do. Hope its not too late to sign up, by the way.

I want to meet singles also but have to do the 1 o'clock because I did promise friends that I would go to their house as well long before I knew about this. Perhaps we can plan other vegan singles events?

I just realized I might have to work, but thinking of getting off early. I wonder what seating most people have signed up for? I want to meet a LOT of people :)

I'd be happy to meet people regardless being single or not, so even if there is a singles table I hope there are great mingle possibilities :)

I found the # online & made my reservation for the 1:00 meal yesterday so I can still make it to my friends. The owner is very nice & asked me to have the waitstaff introduce me to her so she can have me meet other people from the Northshore.

My daughter may or may not be able to make it. She doesn't know if her work will be open. Surprisingly, I am off. I also don't see a # for the restaraunt but will look it up. I hope to get there for 1 as I promised friends I would go to their house. I just get tired of going places where there is little I can eat & am looking forward to meeting like-minded people.

How long do we have to make reservations? My friends invited me over but I know there will be little I can eat. Plus I might meet friends or a man here, lol. I am torn.
