Thanks for the updates Jehan. You're always finding the newest spots for vegan grub. I'll post it on the Vegan New Orleans facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/VeganNewOrleans

Hey gang,
Want to bring you up to speed on some new Veg happenings.  First, if you're able to come support O!VEGASM today that would be great as they are expecting a lower than normal attendance with the Healing Center Grand Opening....so come by before you head down.  Here's today's menu and as always is at Grits 530 Lyons St. Uptown from 11-3 and smoke free!!

*JAQUIER DE LAIT BENEDICT
A phenomenal vegan take on Cochon de Lait. Marinated jackfruit in BBQ sauce, tossed with an almond/cashew cream. Served with grilled tofu and sweet potato hash, piled on a rosemary biscuit.

*BLUEBERRY LAVENDER PANCAKES
Blueberry lavender pancakes, served with a lavender-infused agave syrup.

$15 for a heaping portion, and as always, tips are appreciated.

We will be serving food from 11:00am to 3:00pm, or until we run out of supplies!

ALSO.......DAT DOG ON FRERET OFFERING VEGGIE DOGS ON YUMMY SOURDOUGH BUNS!!
I went there yesterday and they had Field Roast Veggie dogs (as an experiment)...have usually been carrying some black bean veggie dog version and they NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!!!!! They are looking to increase their Vegan options and are open to lots of suggestions.  Great bunch of guys working there!!! 5031 Freret [masked] and are open most nights till 10pm!!

AND.......ARTZ BAGELS AT 3138 MAGAZINE (BEHNID ART GALLERY/LAMP/FURNITURE STORE THINGY....LOL) are offering Vegan bagels (not basted with eggs) and are super tasty and fresh!!! They sadly lacked any vegan toppings so I made some comments to them on their facebook page to have things like vegan cream cheeses, hummus, avocado spreads, etc....here's their website and FB pages:

Here's to keeping it Vegan!
