Hi Jehan,

I am a member of the Unitarian church and on the board.  I really don't think its the best option because the kitchen upstairs is used by a volunteer group and there isn't much space available during that time on Sundays.  The building rental manager is Charles McElwain and he can be reached at [address removed]  298-8167.  But like I said I don't think its ideal.  They are working on building a new commercial kitchen but that still wouldn't solve the issue of seating.  I will keep thinking of options for you.  I went for the first time week before last and it was fabulous!

Thanks,

Kara Morgan

Jehan,

Unitarian Church has kitchen, of course but brunch would conflict with Sunday Service. But it is a huge facility and so perhaps something could be worked out. At least you know the folks would be sympathetic.

By the way, never heard from Terri Schwartz about Field Roast stuff in my freezer despite numerous tries. So I'm going to eat it and if she ever wants it we will work out a price for it.

Later,

Aleta

Hello everyone,

The O! Vegasm Vegan Sunday brunch is in desperate need of a new venue to allow our operation to continue!  Our current venue has changed some of its previous guidelines that has made it impossible for us to continue our brunches there, including banning children from the premises, allowing smoking during the brunches, and permitting other customers to bring in and display meat products during the brunch.  We desperately want to keep these brunches going (as does our large cliental), so if there is any venue that you may know of that would allow us to use their kitchen and space to serve our delicious vegan brunches, please call O'Shea Cleveland at (443) 994 9394.  We would be very appreciative for any help to keep our brunches going so that we may continue to bring delicious, cruelty-free meals to the Nola community!  Thank you!
