Amie Havens, the Superfood Bar Chef, has a back ground of 6 years in fine dining. Her skills and culinary knowledge is classical french with a new modern raw, vegan twist. She's applying her culinary background of classical french cooking to a much simpler and healthier way of cuisine, raw veganism. "Vegan food can be just as beautiful and rich, all it takes is patience and a palate, I love working with super foods, incorporating antioxidant rich foods into everyday cooking." Myslef (Jehan) has a Bachelors in Nutrition with lots of Superfood knowledge to bring to the table. Collectively we hope to put on a great class for all of you! Here's a snapshot of our class:
*Breaking down young coconuts, making coconut milk, prepared juice drinks, and watermelon coconut juice cocktail.
* Main course of mac n cheese using coconut milk with a seasonal veggie ragu.
* Coconut custard, served with seasonal fruits and a gram-cracker crust.
